If you are considering a leaf blower keep reading; this review is on the Husqvarna 350BT leaf blower.
First note that this is a gas blower and not electric or battery powered. You will need a gas and oil mixture to run this leaf blower.
Another point you need to be aware of is that like most leaf blowers this is designed for a right handed person; if you are left handed this is probably not going to work well for you.
What features does the Husqvarna have?
- 2 year warranty.
- Cylinder Displacement: 50.2 cm3.
- Air Speed: 180 mph.
- Air Flow: 494.41 cfm.
- Fuel Tank Capacity: 42.27 fluid ounces.
- Weight: 22.5 lbs.
What it will not do
This is a leaf blower therefore it will not blow snow, which would require a snow blower. I should think that is pretty straight up and forward. You do not buy a pick to pound a nail so why would you blow a leaf blower and think it can blow snow?
This is not a vacuum leaf blower.
Pros and cons
This machine has both advantages and disadvantages.
- Fairly lightweight at only 22.5 pounds
- Easy start
- Quieter than many other blowers
- Plenty of power
- Easy to assemble
- Cruise control
- Tubes are not always easy to get apart when you store it
- It does not have a vacuum along with the blower so you could use either or.
Things to consider
Looking at the advantages it says it is quieter than many other blowers however you should still wear hearing protection when using this or any other machine. There is plenty of noise canceling ear protection available on the market with AM/FM radios if you wish to listen to music while working.
While 22.5 pounds is lightweight for most, if you have physical disability this might be a little heavier than you want to use for an extended period of time. Basically lightweight will depend on how large of an area you intend to use it in.
When storing if you have the room, you may decide to leave the tubes on as it might be easier than taking them apart.
